Reschio's hills produce beautiful finely focused light reds and rosés for estate consumption. Alongside the estate's own vineyards, some of Reschio's farmhouses have their own private wineries that produce wine exclusively for their owners. Planting, site selection and wine production is managed by Reschio's head winemaker.
Every October, Reschio's grapes are brought down from the hills to be pressed at a local winery. Harvest time is a rite that brings together the whole community of the estate, from housekeepers and gardeners to the house owners and guests – everyone goes out together into the fields to bring in the fruit. After pressing, the wine is stored in oak barriques until it is time for bottling. The estate also produces individual wine labels at several of the privately owned properties.
