Costantino Ruspoli Exhibition, a Passionate Portrayal of Florence
July 1, 2017
Costantino Ruspoli started his career as a photojournalist with an insatiable desire for travel. During the 80’s and 90’s, while developing his creativity and art he worked as a fashion photographer.
A selection of black and white of photographic prints from Costantino Ruspoli’s extensive photographic campaign in Florence, presented a passionate portrayal of the city from a bygone era. He photographed the city from his past with his memories of a time when it was not overrun with tourists, when the pizza parlours were artisan workshops. As Conte Benedikt Bolza commented: “Ruspoli’s lens opened our eyes to the unpredictable and unconventional aspects of a city that we know so well. The exquisite images captured the minutiae of the buildings and streets and brought the city to life in a totally new and unexpected way".
Our restored Tabaccaia di Reschio; it’s an artwork in itself. The former tobacco factory has been reimagined into an industrial-chic creative centre of sky-high ceilings and stylish spaces for our Reschio team. Here, too, is where we host our art exhibitions, which have included the world-famous artists
