We Love Our Tennis Tournament
We Love Tennis at Reschio, especially our Inter-House Tennis Tournament. It is an intense battle with enthusiastic supporters cheering their champions into combat from the Tennis Pavilion. Each house on the Estate can enter a doubles team, or even several. So far, eleven teams have registered. There are rules, but they are not necessarily adhered to as although they insist it is just a game, the competition grows more intense with every round over the five fierce days of rivalry. The ultimate and most desired trophy, the Reschio Pragnell Cup, is currently being polished in anticipation.
No doubt the teams are secretly finessing their service technique, with an eye on the Paris Olympics to pick up extra tips and on 12th August they too will parade out onto the Reschio courts to start the 9th Inter-House Tennis Tournament. We love this annual epic clash.
